“Never Give up” is actually good advice.

A great advice even!

Let me reveal my secret; I’m a mobile game addict. I’ve played more than 50 games in my life time.

Early last year, I finished Plants vs Zombies 1, and I went ahead to download the Part 2. This is currently my favorite game.

I love a game that’s challenging, but at the same time satisfying, visually appealing and free.

Plants vs Zombies is just that.

I’ve been stuck in levels that were absolutely hard to pass. Recently, I got to a level 28, in the beach time zone.

I played that level for months, losing each and every time. I mean I played that level like 10 times every day for three months, and I failed each time.

Yesterday, I finally won the level. I couldn’t contain my joy, I did a little dance and almost hugged a stranger. It became super easy clearing the other levels that came ahead.

This is just like life.

Most times we get stuck in a particular situation that seem impossible to get out from.

We exhaust all our options, break a sweat and run out of energy trying to elevate and succeed - and our efforts end up in dust.

It happens to everyone of us but…

If I had deleted the game after the 3rd day of trying, I won’t be reeling in the satisfaction I’m having now.

However, the wisdom in applying this technique is knowing when to give up.

“Bella, you’re contradicting yourself”

No I’m not hear me out.

Never give up on your goal and life’s mission.

Like mine is to be a rich, famous business woman and philanthropist. That’s the goal I’ll never give up on.

I have employed so many strategies in the pursuit of my goal. I’ve been a baker, a fashion designer, a lounge owner and I’ve failed terribly at all this.

But right now, I have a new business I’m building and I know I’ll set up many more.

You need to know how to cut your losses when a strategy is failing. I tried so many techniques before I could finally pass that level.

Giving up on a method doesn’t mean you’re a failure. Rather you’ve learnt one way not to do it.

So what’s your life goal?

Is it to climb to the top of your career?

To go on a trip around the world?

Achieve an ideal body weight?

Never give up! You may not get it right today but that’s why there’s tomorrow. There is so much power in resilience and consistency. Those are the two keys to success!
